Prospect on the Rise

2022 Manor ATH Che Nwabuko (5'10, 165) picked up two new Big 10 offers from Purdue and Michigan this week.

Nwabuko also holds offers from schools like Air Force, Kansas, Marshall and Pittsburgh.

The Cen-Tex speedster qualified for the 5A state track meet with personal best times in the 100 (10.47) and the 200-meter dash (21.44).

Commit of the Week

2022 Lubbock Estacado OT Jihad Lateef (6'4, 290) committed to Washington State over offers from Houston, North Texas, Texas State, Arizona State, Colorado State and more.

The four-star is rated as the No. 50 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Lateef is a high-ceiling offensive tackle prospect who is only going to get better as he matures. He has all the tools and had a great off-season heading into 2020 to transform into an elite recruit.

Underclassmen of the Week

Denton Guyer 2023 QB Jackson Arnold (6'1, 195) picked up two SEC offers this week from Arkansas and Ole Miss.

Arnold also holds early offers from North Texas, Michigan State and Tulsa.

Arnold stepped in for an injured Eli Stowers in the 6A Division I state title game as a freshman in 2019 and is set to take over the high-powered offense in 2021.

Recruit of the Week

2022 Cedar Hill CB Jalon Peoples (6'0, 175) narrowed his list to a Top 5.

Baylor, SMU, Texas Tech, Iowa and Kansas all made the cut.

Peoples is rated as a three-star prospect, checking in at No. 59 in the DCTF Hot 100.
