Stop us if you've heard this before: Oklahoma is going to have a standout freshman wide receiver this season.
It's a foregone conclusion at this point, but it's true again. The Sooners actually have a few 2021 signees who could fit this role, just as 2020 Mr. Texas Football Marvin Mims did a season ago.
One of the players that could breakout as a freshman is Richmond Foster's Cody Jackson, who was rated as the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 9 player overall in 2020 by Dave Campbell's Texas Football.
