One of the state's best wide receiver prospects is heading to the exit.

Texas A&M wide receiver Shadrach Banks – who enrolled as a member of the class of 2021 in January – has entered the transfer portal, according to a report from AL.com

Banks ranked as the No. 20 overall player and No. 3 receiver in the state in the Texas Football recruiting rankings. He won two state championships during a tremendous career at Galena Park North Shore.

Banks enrolled early as part of the nation's No. 7 recruiting class. He was the seventh-best prospect in the class, and the only wide receiver.
