Quinn Ewers - Southlake Carroll

The DCTF five-star prospect has special arm talent. The ball just jumps out of his hand. It was a windy day, but Ewers did not struggle at all with his velocity. He changes up his arm slot at times to make specific throws which just adds to his mystique. The Ohio State commit was invited to the Elite 11 finals and looked the part of the top quarterback prospect in the state.

Nick Evers - Flower Mound

The Florida commit looked great in the "Pro Day" portion of the event and looks to have added some weight to his frame since the end of the high school football season. Evers has continued to make huge developmental strides each and every day as he works his way up the national quarterback rankings lists. the DCTF three-star punched a ticket to the Elite 11 finals.

Josh Hoover - Rockwall-Heath

Hoover is strong in his lower body and that helps him to have a consistent and repeatable delivery. Hoover seemed to get stronger as the day went along working himself into the top group of throwers overall at the event. Hoover holds offers from schools like Arkansas, Memphis, SMU, Tulsa and more.

Cade Klubnik - Austin Westlake

Klubnik is still recovering from a shoulder injury, but it did not slow him in the early going as he was going throw for throw with Ewers. Arm strength is not a concern as the DCTF four-star has shown that he has the zip to put him into an elite category. The Clemson commit was invited to the Elite 11 finals at the end of the competition.

Garret Rangel - Frisco Lone Star

Silky smooth is the best way to describe Rangel's performance. He was extremely accurate and throws the type of ball that is easily catchable. He plays under control at all times and does not get rattled. Rangel is committed to Oklahoma State.

Note: Only the Texas-based quarterbacks were evaluated.
