We start this week’s edition of top plays with UIW freshman sensation Cameron Ward, who set the Cardinals program record for most passing touchdowns in a single season in only their sixth game.
UIW and Sam Houston each produced some other incredible plays during Saturday’s contest.
No. 2 Kilgore and Navarro renewed their rivalry last Saturday in a classic. Navarro led 10-9 at the half, but the offenses came alive in the second half scoring 71 combined points in the final two quarters.
Kilgore remained undefeated on the season, defeating the Bulldogs 52-38 and tying the overall series between the two schools at 43-43-2.
