Anthony Renfro is returning to Clear Springs to take over as the head coach of the Chargers after two seasons as head coach at La Porte.

He’ll replace Craig Dailey, who left for his hometown of Seguin in March.

Renfro, a native of Sonora, spent time as an assistant at Aspermont, Seguin and San Antonio East Central before spending 2016-2018 on staff at Clear Springs. He takes over at Clear Springs, who has won four district titles in the past five years.
