The Sam Houston defense was solid in the Bearkats 24-16 win over Northwestern State and leads this week’s must-see plays from small college football.

That was far from the only highlight the Kats produced in their victory over the Demons. Last Thursday night, the first Sam Houston touchdown was an incredible 28-yard pass from Eric Schmid to Cody Chrest.

Schmid and Chrest hooked up once again with the signal-caller barely getting the ball out in time and placed a laster to Chrest.

Lamar took a tough road loss to No. 22 Southeastern Louisiana last Saturday night, but this interception by linebacker Keshawn Young showed incredible concentration.

All Benjie Franklin does for Tarleton is score touchdowns. Here is the senior defensive back’s second special teams touchdown this spring.

The Plays of the Week would not be complete without a couple more highlights from Tarleton wide receiver Tariq Bitson. The human highlight reel does not care if the defender is all over him; he will still come down with the ball.
