Prospect on the Rise

2022 Lubbock-Cooper DE Kyler Jordan (6'2, 235) committed to Baylor over offers from SMU, Texas Tech, UTSA, Arizona and more.

Quick Hitter: Jordan will be a four-year starter and has experience playing with his hand in the dirt and different linebacker spots. As a linebacker, he has shown a knack for getting downhill quickly and applying pressure on the quarterback or sniffing out running backs behind the line of scrimmage. He projects as a hybrid DE/OLB.

Commit of the Week

2022 North Shore DT Kristopher Ross (6'3, 265) committed to Texas over Baylor, LSU, and Oklahoma offers.

Ross is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Ross is strong at the point of attack with solid numbers in the weight room, boasting a 365-pound power clean. He has a quick first step and consistently plays with a low pad level. He is a big-bodied defensive tackle with goof frame upside and the suddenness and explosion to create mismatches up front.

Underclassmen of the Week

2023 Lewisville DE Jordan Renaud (6'4, 250) has been picking up major offer after major offer and has established himself as one of the top recruits in his Class nationally.

This week Auburn joined Baylor, Texas, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Bowling Green, Florida State, Indiana, Iowa State, Liberty, Miami (FL), Oklahoma, South Carolina and UCF on his early offer list.

Renaud played at Palmetto high school in Florida as a sophomore in 2020.

Recruit of the Week

2022 Tenaha ATH Jeremy Patton (6'2, 210) is a prospect who continues to pick up more and more attention, and he just added a new offer from Texas.

Patton is one of the most-heavily recruited small school stars in the Lone Star State in the 2022 cycle and now boasts 18 offers.

In addition to the Longhorns, Patton has secured Power Five conference offers from schools like Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and more.
