Prospect on the Rise 

February has been an excellent month for Flower Mound 2022 QB Nick Evers (6'3, 190). 

Evers has added new offers (in order) from Houston, Cincinnati, UTSA, Tulsa, Florida, Penn State, North Texas, Virginia Tech, FIU, Minnesota, Louisville, Vanderbilt and Iowa. 

Those 13 schools join Texas State, Boise State, Colorado and Kansas as the FBS schools to step up with an offer for Evers. 

As a junior in 2020, Evers completed 202-of-299 passes for 2,591 yards and 25 touchdowns. 

Commit of the Week

Frisco Liberty 2022 WR Evan Stewart (6'0, 175) committed to Texas over offers from schools like Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, and more. 

Stewart is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect. 

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Stewart is known for his 10.74 100-meter and 21.08 200-meter speed. He is one of the state's most athletic receivers regardless of classification. 

Underclassmen of the Week

2023 Langham Creek WR Jaquaize Pettaway (5'11, 170) picked up new offers from Baylor, Texas, Marshall, Oklahoma, Penn State and USC this week. 

The DCTF Rising Top 50 member also has offers from Houston, Arkansas, Oklahoma State and West Virginia. 

Pettway was named the 16-6A District Newcomer of the Year as a junior after racking up over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns.  

Recruit of the Week

2022 North Shore CB Denver Harris (6'1, 180) narrowed his heavy offer list down to Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama and LSU. 

Harris was also named as the No. 4 prospect in the updated DCTF Class of 2022 Top 10, making him a strong candidate for five-star status. 

Harris was named as the 21-6A Defensive Player of the Year as a junior in 2020.
