Feb. 18: Lamar has postponed its season opener against Northwestern State due to winter weather causing unsafe travel conditions. The game has been pushed to March 27, pushing Blane Morgan's debut as a head coach on the road against Nicholls on Feb. 27. 

Feb. 18: The American Southwest Conference has announced a revised football schedule after multiple cancellations due to weather in the past week. Any games that were postponed on Feb. 13 – including Hardin-Simmons/Southwestern, Texas Lutheran/McMurry and Southwestern/Louisiana College will be made up on March 13. Games postponed on Feb. 20 will be played on March 20. Additionally, the ASC Championship and playoff day have been pushed two weeks until March 27. The five-game season will not be pushed beyond March 27. 

Feb. 18: The Southern Athletic Association has postponed both D-III games this weekend. Austin College vs. Millsaps will be rescheduled for March 5, while Trinity vs. Hendrix will take place on March 6. 

Feb. 17: UTPB's season opener against Southern Nazarene has been pushed back one week until Feb. 27 due to unsafe travel conditions and limited practice time following the winter storm. Additionally, all three UTPB home games will move from Ratliff Stadium in Odessa to Grande Stadium in Midland as Ratliff is used as a COVID vaccine distribution site for the West Texas region. 

Feb. 17: Sam Houston's matchup with UIW on Saturday has been rescheduled for April 17 due to inclement weather in San Antonio. 

Feb. 16: The American Southwest Conference is postponing all scheduled competition between Feb. 16 and Feb. 21 due to the inclement weather impacting the state of Texas. Games impacted include Hardin-Simmons/Sul Ross, Howard Payne/McMurry, Mary Hardin-Baylor/Louisiana College and Southwestern/Belhaven. All of those games will be rescheduled for March 20. 

Feb. 12: Four Division III football games were postponed or cancelled due to the polar vortex bringing frigid conditions to the state. Hardin-Simmons/Howard Payne, Texas Lutheran/McMurry and Austin College/Hendrix and Southwestern/Louisiana College were all postponed by the weather. 

Feb. 10: Texas Wesleyan has cancelled the first four games of its spring football season due to COVID-19 issues in the program. The games affected include in-state games against Southwestern Assemblies of God on Feb. 19 and Wayland Baptist on March 6. The remaining games against Oklahoma Panhandle State and Lyon College will be evaluated at a later date.
