Prospect on the Rise

DCTF Rising Hot 100 member Haslet Eaton 2022 OT Hunter Erb (6'7, 310) picked up new offers from Houston, TCU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Oregon.

Erb's offer tally has grown to 14 as those schools join Baylor, Michigan State, Colorado, Utah, Kansas, UTSA, SMU and South Alabama on his list.

The first team all-district selection had to bide his time to get a shot at playing varsity but did not take long to establish himself as a division one prospect as a junior in 2020.

He is a big, strong offensive tackle who could easily slide inside and play guard as well.

Commit of the Week

Dickinson 2022 TE Donovan Green (6'4, 220) committed to Texas A&M over offers from schools like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Stanford, Texas and more.

Green is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Green is rated as one of the nation's top tight end prospects. He is a big-play threat flexed out wide as a receiver but has the frame and arm length to develop into a traditional tight end as he matures and adds mass.

Underclassmen of the Week

Amarillo Tascosa DE Avion Carter (6'6, 230) picked up his first offer this week from Baylor. An offer from Arizona State closely followed.

Carter is a big and athletic defensive end specimen who could also eventually move inside, but his quick first step makes him a pass-rushing specialist. It is just rare you see someone so big move so quickly.

Carter was a Top 50 selection in Decembers DCTF Rising Magazine.

Recruit of the Week

Aledo 2022 S Bryan "BJ" Allen (6'0, 180) is back on the market after announcing an LSU decommitment.

"In life, we sometimes have to make hard decisions, this is one for me," Allen posted on social media.

He picked up a new offer from Michigan and was re-offered by the new coaching staffs at Texas and Auburn.

Allen also holds offers from schools like Baylor, TCU, Texas A&M, Florida, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.

The DCTF four-star helped lead Aledo to a state championship in 2021.
