Prospect on the Rise

Denton Ryan 2021 S Ty Marsh (5'11, 175) had a strong showing in the state championship game, proving he is one of the top available 2021 players still on the market.

Marsh, a one-time Houston commit, picked up a new offer from Hawaii to add to a list that also includes UTSA, Arkansas State, Duke, Louisiana, ULM, New Mexico and Nevada.

Marsh made plays all over the field for Denton Ryan this season in all three phases of the game -- offense, defense, and special teams.

Commit of the Week

Katy 2022 DE Malick Sylla (6'6, 230) committed to Texas A&M over offers from schools like Baylor, Texas, Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma and more.

Sylla is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Texas boasts many talented defensive ends in the 2022 cycle, but Sylla is the cream of the crop. He plays in a disciplined attack-and-read defense where he is asked to carry out assignments that will help him be college-ready because the pass-rushing traits are apparent.

Underclassmen of the Week

Bremond 2022 DT JaRay Bledsoe (6'4, 260) is the hottest recruit in the state.

This week he added offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Oregon. Bledsoe also has offers from Baylor and Oklahoma State.

Bledsoe is a big man who stars on both sides of the ball. He collected over 100 tackles and 17 tackles for loss and rushed for over 1,200 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Recruit of the Week

Austin Westlake 2022 QB Cade Klubnik (6'1, 170) had a huge game in Austin Westlake's 52-34 win over Southlake Carroll in the 6A Division I state title win, solidifying his status as one of the state's top overall prospects.

The DCTF four-star completed 18 of 20 passes for 220 yards and a touchdown and had 17 carries for 97 yards.

Klubnik picked up a new offer from Texas A&M. The Aggies join schools like Auburn, Georgia, LSU, North Carolina, Texas and TCU on his offer list.
