There isn't much that Tenaha 2022 ATH Jeremy Patton (6-2, 210) cannot do when it comes to playing under the Friday Night Lights.

Whether he comes out of the backfield or split out on offense at receiver, he makes plays.

Similarly, he does the same on defense.

“College coaches have told me that they love how versatile and aggressive I am at every position. For me, I’m still always working towards improvement,” Patton said. “I can always work on speed. Offensively, I would like to get my hands better as a wide receiver. On defense, consistently wrap up.”

While Patton continues to do this, college coaches are already working to be in a prime position to sign him in 2022.

To date, Oklahoma State, SMU, Houston, Kansas, Baylor, New Mexico, TCU, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, and Ole Miss have offered, with the latter three programs as his latest offers.

Still, there are plenty more coaches who are likely to put their names in the hat.

Wisconsin, Texas, Maryland and West Virginia are showing interest.

Patton said that many schools like him on defensive side as an outside linebacker or safety.

“Oklahoma State has shown lots of love, as well as some other schools. Once I get the chance, I want to visit everywhere,” Patton said. “Baylor, Texas, SMU, Houston, I want to go to any program that has offered or has interest. Playing at the next level is important to me.”

There is one key element that will factor into Patton’s recruiting that hits close to home.

“I have a lot of interest in playing close to home. I want my family to be able to come and watch me play,” Patton said. “I want to make it easy for my family to travel to see me.”
