Nearly every top program in the country is in hot pursuit of Arlington Bowie 2022 OG Devon Campbell (6'4, 270), rated as the No. 1 OG in the nation by 247Sports.

His offer count is at 27 and counting with Florida State, Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Penn State, Florida, TCU, Oklahoma State, Miami and Georgia to name a few.

So far, only Texas and TCU have received a visit from Campbell, which he felt both went well.

“All of the schools that have offered stand out for me. It’s truly a blessing to have all of these offers,” Campbell said. “All the coaches are contacting me regularly every day.”

Of course, all of the schools would love to have him on their roster for 2022, as his aggressiveness, motor and speed are what he said the college coaches like most about his game.

When it comes to pass blocking and run blocking, Campbell said that the latter gets him the most excited.

“I’m much better at run blocking. When I pull around to block for my backs is what I like the most,” Campbell said. “I like being able to clear the way and make a lane for my backs. I also like keeping up with them when I block downfield.”

As soon as he’s able, Campbell said that he wants to get a closer look at top colleges and see “all of my opportunities.”

Campbell is rated as DCTF four-star.
