Klein Forest 2021 RB Ahmonte Watkins (5'10, 175) inked with TTCU over offers from schools like Baylor, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Miami (FL), Mississippi State and more.
Watkins is rated as a three-star DCTF prospect, checking in as the No. 51 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100 and the No. 4 RB.
Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Watkins, who transferred to Klein Forest from Riverside Academy in Louisiana, is known for his blistering speed. He was the state champion in the 100-meter (10.71) and 200-meter (21.71) in 2019. He is one of the most exciting ball carriers in the nation.
Watkins flew a little bit under the radar because he transferred from out of state, but his talents should mesh well with the TCU offense in the Big 12, where he can add a new wrinkle because he is a scoring threat every time he touches the ball.
