Shiner's Doug Brooks made one of the best plays you'll ever see in the 2A Division I UIL Texas high school football state championship, stripping Post's Slayden Pittman, recovering the ball and then handing it off to teammate Max Machacek for the touchdown.

What selflessness by the big guy!

That wasn't the only game-changing play Brooks made. Early in the third quarter, Brooks busted through Post's line, blocked a punt and was able to recover it in the endzone to give Shiner a 28-20 lead.
