While he works to get his team more wins in the district, Tyler Legacy 2022 RB Jamarion Miller (5'10, 185) is optimistic as the playoffs approach.
Miller is an all-around playmaker who has been all over the field for Legacy, lining up at running back and receiver.
This level of productivity has boded well for him in regards to college recruiting. At the moment, he has 13 offers.
And soon, more will come.
"Arkansas, Oklahoma State, SMU, UTSA, Nebraska, Baylor, Texas Tech, Washington State, Minnesota, Texas, Houston and Colorado are the schools that have offered me," said Miller, who additionally added an offer from Ole Miss.
While he doesn't have a program that stands out for him, Nebraska and SMU are the schools showing him the most interest. He said that communication has been constant as the coaches get to know him better.
In addition to the schools that have offered, LSU has been showing some interest as well.
His playmaking skills and speed are the selling points to college coaches.
"Coaches have been keeping in touch with me and seeing how I'm doing on the field and in school. I have been focusing a lot on (high) school," Miller said.
To date, Miller has not yet visited any of the interested schools. He does want to make some trips when and if available this spring.
