Marquee Game
6A No. 18 Midland L.E.E. vs 5A DI No. 9 Amarillo Tascosa
6:30 p.m.
Stream Link

It doesn’t get much better than this West Texas vs Panhandle matchup. L.E.E. is coming off of a shootout win over Amarillo while Tascosa’s flexbone edged out a 26-20 win over Abilene. Both programs have high expectations in their respective Region I races this year.

San Angelo Central vs Schertz Clemens
6:50 p.m.
Stream Link

San Antonio Harlan vs 6A No. 19 San Antonio Brandeis
6:50 p.m.

Marquee Game
5A DII No. 2 Aledo vs DI No. 7 Frisco Lone Star
7 p.m.
Stream Link

Talk about two different debuts.

Aledo’s 70-7 win over Weatherford was a statement that the Bearcats are still a smooth machine with Brant Hayden manning the offense. The Rangers, however, need to find a quick rebound after a letdown loss to unranked North Forney in their Week 1.

Marquee Game
6A No. 15 Cedar Hill vs 6A No. 22 Arlington
7 p.m.
Stream Link
Stream Link ($)

A first chance to see star QB and Tennessee commit Kaidon Salter in 2020 with a new cast of playmakers at wide receiver. Arlington looked explosive in Kris Sims’ second season behind center who combined with B.J. Rogers for 305 yards of offense against Mansfield.

Marquee Game
6A No. 12 Converse Judson at 6A No. 10 DeSoto
7 p.m.
Stream Link
San Antonio vs Dallas!

C’mon any high school football fan should want to see this showdown of two powerhouse brands. What do the Eagles look like in Claude Mathis’ second season back in town? What about Judson after graduating some very talented playmakers? Tons of mystery surrounding these two, but expect to see tons of talent regardless.

Marquee Game
6A No. 23 Cypress Bridgeland at 6A No. 13 Shadow Creek
7 p.m.
Stream Link ($)

Bridgeland edged out a strong Klein Cain last week while Shadow Creek hung with top-ranked North Shore for a period of time before the Mustangs broke it open late. Expect to see the Kyron Drones similar to the one we saw inside AT&T Stadium last winter against the Bears.

Marquee Game
5A DI No. 1 Denton Ryan vs 6A No. 5 Denton Guyer
7 p.m.
Stream Link

If you thought Arlington Martin looked overmatched last week against Denton Ryan’s prospects, that won't happen this week against Denton Guyer. Now healthy, Eli Stowers should give the Raiders' star athletes the toughest challenge they’ll likely see all season.

Flower Mound Marcus vs McKinney
7 p.m.
Stream Link

Fort Bend Hightower vs 6A No. 11 Spring Westfield
7 p.m.
Stream Link ($)

Houston Lamar vs The Woodlands
7 p.m.
Stream Link

Lorena at Troy
7 p.m.
Stream Link ($)

Lubbock Coronado vs 5A DII No. 3 Lubbock Cooper
7 p.m.
Stream Link

3A DI No. 8 Mount Vernon at Commerce
7 p.m.
Stream Link

Odessa Permian at Mesquite Horn
7 p.m.
Stream Link

Wolfforth Frenship vs Burleson Centennial
7 p.m.
Stream Link

Marquee Game
6A No. 9 Humble Atascocita vs 6A No. 6 Allen
7:20 p.m.
Stream Link
Stream Link ($)

You want a physical fight? This one’s the pick, easily.

Atascocita poses one of the most experienced teams in the state with 17 returning starters including one of the best offensive lines in Texas. But, if there’s one program you’d expect to match-up anyone in the state in the trenches, it’s Allen.

La Vernia vs Pearsall
7:20 p.m.
Stream Link

Manor New Tech vs Navarro
7:20 p.m.
Stream Link

Smithson Valley vs San Antonio Madison
7:20 p.m.
Stream Link

6A No. 4 Austin Westlake vs Waco Midway
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link

Bowie vs Pilot Point
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link

Marquee Game
4A DII No. 1 Carthage vs 4A DII No. 2 Texarkana Pleasant Grove
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link

An elite East Texas clash. Last year, Carthage won this handily. Can Pleasant Grove’s slightly more experienced team take advantage this year?

Crane vs Wink
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link

Liberty Hill at Del Valle
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link ($)

Marquee Game
5A DI No. 8 Longview vs 5A DII No. 10 Marshall
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link

Nothing like one of the oldest rivalries in Texas high school football to get Longview’s mind off last week’s disappointing showcase against Temple. The young Lobos are running up against a very tested Marshall team who’d love nothing more than to send their rivals home 0-2.

Lufkin at Nederland
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link ($)

5A DI No. 5 Manvel at Crosby
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link ($)

Marquee Game
4A DI No. 7 Melissa at 4A DI No. 1 Argyle
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link

The Cardinals have been one of the pleasant surprises of 2020 so far starting off 5-0. But now comes by far their biggest test of the season in the top-ranked Argyle Eagles who look like a two-sided machine who have yet to score less than 35 points.

Port Neches-Groves at Beaumont United
7:30 p.m.
Stream Link ($)

Saturday, October 3

6A No. 24 Cibolo Steele vs San Antonio Reagan
6:50 p.m.
Stream Link

San Antonio Brennan vs San Antonio Jay
6:50 p.m.
