Prospect on the Rise

Center 2021 RB KeAmodre "Red" Horace (5'10, 200) was nominated for Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week after rushing for 383 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-40 win over Gladewater.

Horace is currently uncommitted but has offers from schools like North Texas, Texas Southern, Texas State and Fresno State.

Horace was one of the standouts at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 SHowcase in Houston.

Commit of the Week

Del Valle 2021 RB Tavierre Dunlap (6'1, 200) committed to Michigan over offers from TCU, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, USC and more.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Big-framed back with long stride and speed-building ability at the top end. Better top-end speed than most backs of his size. Should be able to reach the 220-pound plateau in college. Best as a north-south hole puncher but athletic enough to bounce and win the edge.

Dunlap is rated as the No. 8 RB and the No. 62 overall prospect in the DCTF Hot 100.

Underclassmen of the Week

This week awarded 10 Class of 2023 four-star status and placed them on the five-star watchlist.

  • DB Daniel Demery: 6'1, 180 | Parish Episcopal
  • WR Jaden Greathouse: 6'3, 190 | Austin Westlake
  • WR Jalen Hale: 6'2, 170 | Longview
  • LB Anthony Hill: 6'1, 200 | Denton Ryan
  • DE Anthony James: 6'4, 220 | Wylie East
  • DB Malik Muhammad: 5'10, 160 | South Oak Cliff
  • CB Braxton Myers: 6'0, 175 | Plano John Paul II

  • RB Sergio Snider: 5'11, 180 | Nolan Catholic

Recruit of the Week

Converse Judson 2021 OG Kamron Scott (6'3, 300) committed to UTSA...again.

Scott initially committed to the Roadrunners back in April but decommitted in June to reexamine all of his offers. Now, he is back on Jeff Traylor's 2021 commit list.

Scott was one of the most impressive specimens at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Houston.

The DCTF three-star has experience playing offensive tackle but will move inside at the college level.

Scott has added 20 pounds of good weight in the off-season. He is dominant at the point of attack and can hold his own against elite-level pass rushers. Scott is built like a tank, but has long arms and is very light on his feet for a prospect with above average size and strength.
