UTSA and Stephen F. Austin both announced additions to their schedules after the Roadrunners’ 24-10 win on Saturday.

The Roadrunners matchup with Memphis scheduled for Sept. 26 is cancelled. The Tigers are still dealing with the aftereffects of positive cases of COVID-19 and will not be ready to field a team. Instead, UTSA has scheduled Middle Tennessee on Friday at the Alamodome.

It is yet to be determined whether the game will count as a conference game or if it is scheduled as a nonconference matchup. UTSA is down a conference game after Old Dominion cancelled football.

Stephen F. Austin has added two games to its outlaw schedule. The Lumberjacks will replace UTSA on Memphis’ schedule. SFA and Memphis will play in Memphis on Nov. 21. Additionally, Stephen F. Austin has scheduled a home matchup against Pittsburg State on Nov. 14.

With the additions, Stephen F. Austin is up to nine games on its barnstorming fall schedule. Athletic director Ryan Ivey told Texas Football earlier in the year that Stephen F. Austin would try to schedule up to nine games as long as it wouldn’t impact eligibility, and then would sit out a potential spring schedule to focus on Fall 2021.

UTSA topped Stephen. F Austin 24-10 at the Alamodome on Saturday to send the.Roadrunners to 2-0 for the first time since 2017.
