Prospect on the Rise

Mineola 2021 ATH Trevion Sneed (6'0, 220) had a massive game in a 41-10 win over Wills Point.

Sneed was nominated for Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week after rushing for 301 yards and three touchdowns and racked up eight tackles and two tackles for a loss.

Sneed is verbally committed to SMU, where he projects to the defensive side of the football.

Commit of the Week

Royse City 2021 WR Ketron Jackson (6'2, 185) committed to Arkansas over offers from Baylor, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and more.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Looks and plays bigger than the listed size. Long-armed with a ton of frame potential. Outstanding ball skills and body control. Adjusts to the ball in flight and plucks with consistency. Well-rounded wideout who can do anything you ask.

Jackson is rated as the No. 7 WR and the No. 32 overall prospect in the DCTF Hot 100.

Underclassman of the Week

Port Arthur Memorial 2022 CB Jaylon Guilbeau (6'0, 180) named his top five: Texas A&M, Alabama, LSU, Oregon and Penn State.

The big surprise on this list is that Texas was not on it, as the Longhorns were considered as one of his leaders.

Guilbeau is already rated as a DCTF four-star prospect and has accepted an invitation to play in the 2022 All-American Bowl.

Recruit of the Week

Wichita Falls Hirschi 2021 DE Chris Murray (6'3, 241) flexed his Top 100 talent in a 28-13 win over Anna.

The TCU commitment racked up 14 tackles, four tackles for a loss, two sacks, forced two fumbles and rushed for a touchdown to be nominated for Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week.

"He is really explosive off the edge and incredibly disruptive," said DCTF TXHSFB analyst Matt Stepp. "He has a knack for making big plays and forcing turnovers."

Jackson is rated as the No. 7 DE and the No. 59 overall prospect in the DCTF Hot 100.
