Prospect on the Rise

Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, USC and San Diego State all offered CC Calallen 2021 OT Ty Buchanan (6'5, 290) this week joining schools like UTSA, Colorado, Colorado State, Indiana, Vanderbilt and many more.

Buchanan helped lead Calallen to a 12-21 record in 2019, earning honorable mention all-state honors along the way.

Commit of the Week

Manor 2021 S Devin Lemear (6'1, 170) committed to Baylor over offers from TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Utah and more.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Lemear is the type of safety who is all over the field, making plays and competes hot-blooded. He can and will get better with weight gain. He loves to hit, so the more mass he can add, the better. He likely sticks at safety, but he does have some corner skills. He has long limbs and shows good instincts in pursuit of the ball.

Additionally, Baylor added a commitment from Dallas Jesuit 2021 OT Ryan Lengyel (6'5, 260)

Underclassman of the Week

Plano John Paul II 2023 CB Terrance Brooks (6'0, 185) hit the 15 offer mark after adding new offers from Notre Dame and Georgia Tech this week.

The son of former Texas A&M standout defensive back Chet Brooks also boasts an early offer from the Aggies and an impressive array of top national programs like LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas.

Brooks was one of 25 Class of 2023 prospects selected and featured in Dave Campbells Texas Football magazine.

Brooks collected three interceptions and 47 tackles to help lead JPII to the state title game in 2019.

Recruit of the Week

DeSoto 2021 WR Jerand Bradley (6'5, 190) accepted an invitation to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.

Bradley is verbally committed to Texas Tech.

The DCTF Hot 100 standout transferred from Plano John Paul II to DeSoto.

Bradley, was a huge playmaker for the Cardinal last year, helping lead the school to the state title game. In 2019, Bradley collected 88 receptions for 1,401 yards and 19 touchdowns.
