DCTF Super Team - First Team Offense

QB: Dematrius Davis - 5'11 | 190 | North Shore

The Dave Campbell's Texas Football four-star prospect is a two-time 6A Division 1 state champion. Davis was named the National Player of the Year as a sophomore and earned Offensive MVP honors following the 2019 title game. He has a quick release and is deadly accurate. 

RB: Camar Wheaton - 6'0 | 190 | Garland Lakeview Centennial

Wheaton is a three-year varsity starter. His 10.67 100-meter speed shows through on tape. He has good vision, and his agility makes him hard to bring down in the open field. Wheaton is known for his big-play ability, but he will also move the chains. 

RB: LJ Johnson - 5'10 | 205 | Cy-Fair

Johnson is one of the state's fastest prospects, owning a 4.42 laser-timed 40-yard dash. The DCTF four-star is also one of the state's most productive backs. He rushed for 1,951 yards on his way to 17-6A Offensive MVP honors in 2019. Johnson has been invited to play in the 2021 All-American Bowl. 

WR: Cody Jackson - 6'0 | 180 | Richmond Foster

Jackson is a go-to receiver. A big play vertical threat who will make plays down the field. He is a guy the quarterback can trust on third and long and red zone situations. Jackson has put together back-to-back 1,000 yards seasons. He owns an impressive catch-radius and a 75-inch wingspan. 

WR: JoJo Earle - 5'10 | 170 | Aledo

Earle is regarded as the highest-rated slot wide receiver in the country. He is a ball of electricity on the football field who possesses elite speed and route-running skills. Aledo lines him up all over the offense to create mismatches, and it works as he was able to collect over 2,000 yards of total offense and scored 26 touchdowns as a junior in 2019. 

TE: Jasper Lott - 6'5 | 255 | Argyle

Lott is a complete tight end. He showed his worth as a touchdown-producer by scoring seven touchdowns on only 18 receptions in 2019. Lott is a willing and competent blocker who dominates at the point of attack. He is the son of All-American offensive tackle John Lott (North Texas). 

OL: Tommy Brockermeyer - 6'6 | 285 | All Saints

Brockermeyer missed his junior season with a shoulder injury but established himself as one of the nation's most elite offensive tackle prospects. He won Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 OT MVP honors. Brockermeyer will play in the Under Armour All-America Game. 

OL: Donovan Jackson - 6'4 | 310 | Bellaire Episcopal

Jackson is a versatile offensive lineman who has the chance to develop into an All-American caliber offensive tackle. An OL who possesses a 4.63 pro-shuttle and an 83-inch wingspan. The DCTF four-star prospect will play in the All-American Bowl. 

OL: Savion Byrd - 6'5 | 275 | Duncanville

Predominantly played defensive tackle but is one of the nation's most heavily-offered offensive tackle prospects. Byrd is a prospect with an extremely high upside. He is light on his feet, runs the field well, and can quickly secure blocks on linebackers or defensive backs. 

OL: Bryce Foster - 6'5 | 320 | Katy Taylor

One of the state's strongest. He dominates the line of scrimmage. Once Foster gets his hands on you, it is over. Has a lot of experience playing offensive guard, but is also a natural center and can factor in there at college, giving him a legitimate chance to be an early contributor in college. 

OL: Reuben Fatheree - 6'7 | 290 | Richmond Foster

You can instantly recognize Foster's length and athleticism on tape. Those skills make him a true offensive tackle who is built to protect the quarterback's blindside. Foster is also a basketball star at Foster but knows his bread will be buttered on the gridiron. He could develop into an NFL player.

Utility: Billy Bowman - 5'10 | 175 | Denton Ryan

Bowman is the type of player who could stay on the field the whole game. He stars on both sides of the ball and is an electric return man. Bowman could be an All-American at wide receiver or cornerback. Could he play on both sides of the ball in college?

DL: Landon Jackson - 6'5 | 240 | Pleasant Grove

Jackson was named the 4A Defensive Player of the Year and helped lead 'The Grove' to a state championship win. He's an elite edge-rusher who can get to the quarterback in a flash. He closes quickly and is relentless in his pursuit of the football. 

DL: David Abiara - 6'4 | 245 | Mansfield Legacy

Abiara is precisely the type of defensive lineman all the colleges are looking for, and he has an offer list that reflects it. He has long arms and the kind of frame that will allow him to add mass without losing speed. His first step quickness is rare. He is a constant mismatch for offensive linemen trying to slow him down. 

DL: Shemar Turner - 6'4 | 260 | DeSoto

One of the most impressive physical specimens in the state. It's hard to believe that he weighs 260 pounds when you look at him. He has the athleticism of a linebacker, but he may be able to play at 280-300 pounds in college. That rare combination makes Turner the type who can play up and down a defensive front, much like Myles Garrett did at Texas A&M. 

DL: Marcus Burris - 6'5 | 265 | Pleasant Grove

Burris has shown some big-play ability at tight end, but prospects with his feet and overall athleticism are most valuable on the defensive line. The all-state selection makes a lot of plays behind the line of scrimmage. As he adds strength and mass, he will be a real force at stopping the run in college. 

LB: Derrick Harris Jr. - 6'2 | 220 | New Caney

Harris is a rangy linebacker who has explosive first-step quickness, and as a result, he is at his best coming off of the edge as a pass rusher. He is a quarterback's nightmare. An excellent tackler in space and shows the speed and lateral ability to chase down ball carriers to the boundary. Harris rated as a DCTF four-star prospect. 

LB: Clayton Smith - 6'4 | 220 | Texas High

Smith could end up on the edge as a downhill edge-rushing OLB in college, but there is a chance he could also develop into a defensive end. He is a terror at the high school level. Smith closes on the football in an instant, showing off tremendous straight-line speed. The DCTF four-star will play in San Antonio's All-American Bowl. 

DB: Ishmael Ibraheem - 6'1 | 170 | Dallas Kimball

Ibraheem is the long and athletic cornerback that every school in the country covets. He is tall but narrow, and that allows him to sink his hips and blanket receivers deep down the field in coverage. Ibraheem has above average makeup speed and long arms that he uses to his advantage in press coverage. 

DB: JD Coffey - 6'1 | 185 | Kennedale

One of the state's most productive defenders. Coffey is a three-year varsity starter who earned all-state honors as a freshman and has already collected 14 career interceptions. He broke onto the scene as more of a coverage specialist but has evolved into a head-knocking safety. He is a great tackler and has the range of a true centerfielder. 

DB: Deuce Harmon - 5'10 | 190 | Denton Guyer

Harmon is a natural fit at cornerback, but he hits like a safety. The four-star defender shows the ability to hang in a receiver's hip pocket in coverage and find a way to get a hand in to break up a pass. His combination of coverage awareness and tackling ability is rare. Harmon helped lead Guyer to the state title game in 2019. 

DB: Andrew Mukuba - 5'11 | 175 | Austin LBJ

Mukuba is a three-way high school athlete who makes plays all over the field, but he will play in the defensive backfield in college. His athleticism is off the charts. Mukuba can run down the fastest ball carriers from the safety position, and he shows that same separation speed as a wide receiver and return man. 

DB: Latrell McCutchin - 6'0 | 180 | Austin LBJ

McCutchin is a cornerback prospect who can play on an island. He has a skill set that should be defined as versatile or well-rounded. There is not one area of his game that you can point out as a weakness. McCutchin is equally adept in man and zone coverages and is a willing and able tackler. 

Utility: Ja' Tavion Sanders - 6'4 | 230 | Denton Ryan

Sanders is the type of athlete who is in the mix to be considered as the No. 1 prospect in the state. He runs exceptionally well for his size, and that allows him to be a force on offense as a receiver, but his highest upside is at defensive end. On defense, Sanders is steadfast at the point of attack, plays with passion, and can get after the quarterback.
