Atascocita 2021 WR/TE Landen King (6'5, 210) committed to Auburn on Sunday night over offers from schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Alabama, Arizona State, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Purdue, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and more.

King is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect and was one of the top performers at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 in Houston.

Landen King Scouting Report: King has good feet and quickness for a prospect with his size and frame. He is a long strider but gets up to top speed quickly. He is a jumbo wide receiver who fits in well as a flex tight end option in college. His combination of skills will make him a matchup nightmare. He is not a traditional point of attack tight end but versatile in that he can pull and wrap to cover linebackers, and he is a physical blocker for fellow receivers in the quick screen game and the run game.

As a junior in 2019, King collected 53 receptions for 853 yards and nine touchdowns to earn first-team all-district honors.
