Prospect on the Rise

Haslet Eaton 2021 DE Jayden Gray (6'3, 235) picked up his first P5 offer from Virginia Tech and added new FBS offers from North Texas, UTSA and Army.

Texas Southern has also extended an offer.
Gray is a prospect who passes the eyeball test and has the film to back up his frame. He starred at the Next Level Athlete Top 100 Showcase in Dallas, and colleges who were waiting to take a look at him in the spring evaluation should be paying attention to his camp tape.

Commit of the Week

USC added a commitment from Katy 2021 RB Brandon Campbell (5'11, 195)

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Expected running back build. Should play at 200-plus pounds in college reasonably easily. Terrific combine tester with a 4.58-second 40 and a sub-4.10 pro agility time. Flashes good burst and top-end speed to hit big plays. Among Texas' top backs in the 2020 class.

Underclassman of the Week

Klein Cain 2022 RB Jaydon Blue (5'10, 190) picked up significant offers from Alabama and USC.

SMU, TCU, Texas, Arizona State, Mississippi State and Oklahoma State have also offered.

Blue was a standout at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Houston.

Recruit of the Week

DCTF unveiled Fort Bend Hightower 2021 WR Latrell Neville (6'4, 205) as being the most-heavily offered FBS prospect in the state, narrowly edging out SMU QB commit Preston Stone.
With 45 offers in hand, Neville has yet to narrow his list. Still, sources close to his recruitment indicate that schools like Baylor, Texas, Auburn, Florida, Nebraska, USC, West Virginia and Virginia Tech should be closely monitored.

Neville checks in at No. 19 in the 2021 DCTF rankings.
