The high school path for four-star running back Brandon Campbell has been a unique one.

After attending Katy Mayde Creek as a freshman, Campbell spent his sophomore season at Katy Taylor and his junior year at Pearland. Shortly after Christmas break reports surfaced that Campbell had transferred back to Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated. Then, in a real curveball Dennis Silva of the Katy Times, reported that Campbell, who recently committed to USC, had enrolled at Katy High School on March 26.

It remains to be seen what the status of Campbell’s Previous Athletic Participation Form (PAPF) will be and what his eligibility status will be in 2020. Clearly, with the situation of CoVid-19, some of the procedural items that would normally be in motion in a situation like this are delayed.

Stay tuned.
