Prospect on the Rise

Highland Park 2021 OT Jack Leyrer (6'6, 270) continues to pick up steam on the recruiting trail.

Leyrer took an unofficial visit to see Texas Tech this past weekend and had an "awesome time."

The Red Raiders have not yet extended an offer, but schools like SMU, Tulsa, Arkansas State, Air Force and Dartmouth have.

Look for recruiting momentum to continue to swirl around Leyrer as he will add more offers in the spring evaluation period.

Commit of the Week

Baylor picked up a commitment from Weatherford 2021 S Cicero Caston (6'2, 185)

Caston picked the Bears over offers a slate of national offers like Kansas, Miami (FL), SMU, UMass, North Texas, Florida, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Houston and Liberty.

Underclassman of the Week

Tatum 2022 WR Jayden Boyd (6'3, 185) picked up his first official offer from Kansas.

Boyd is a two-sport star (football, basketball) in high school and is only starting to scratch the surface of his potential.

Boyd's size and leaping ability make him a prospect that many colleges will find an interest in.

Recruit of the Week

New Caney 2021 ATH Cale Sanders (5'11, 175) opened up his recruitment by decommitting from Texas Tech.

"Due to circumstances outside of my control, I am decomitting from Texas Tech and reopening my recruitment," Sanders reported. "No love lost. My recruitment is 100% reopened."

Sanders holds offers from schools like Houston, Texas State, UTSA, Fresno State and Utah.
