Prospect on the Rise

This week Argyle 2021 OT Jack Tucker (6'6, 265) picked up two new offers from Auburn and Cal.

Tucker also holds offers from schools like Boston College, Texas Tech, Baylor, Tulsa, Illinois, Washington State, Purdue, Minnesota, North Texas, Ole Miss and USC.

Tucker was the OL MVP at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Dallas.

Commit of the Week

Baylor picked up a commitment from Richmond George Ranch 2021 WR Javon Gipson (6'2, 185).

Gipson picked the Bears over offers from Houston, Iowa State, Northwestern and Tulsa.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Speed is the name of Gipson's game. He is an elite track runner who is able to consistently and effectively track the deep ball when given the opportunity. Look for him to continue to improve his game with more opportunities in the passing game going forward. 

Underclassman of the Week

Duncanville 2023 QB Chris Parson (6'0, 185) picked up an offer from Iowa following an unofficial visit to the school over the weekend.

Parson also owns early offers from Illinois State and Kansas.

Parson stepped in for injured Duncanville star quarterback Ja'Quinden Jackson in the 6A Division I state championship game at AT&T Stadium.

Parson completed 19 of 38 passes for 345 yards and six scores as a freshman in 2019.

Recruit of the Week

Austin LBJ 2021 CB Latrell McCutchin (6'1, 180) opened up his recruitment by decommitting from Alabama.

McCutchin, who holds offers from schools like Baylor, Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, LSU, Georgia, Ohio State and many more, was on an unofficial visit to OU when he announced the news.

Was it just a coincidence, or could that mean good news for the Sooners soon?
