Prospect on the Rise

Weatherford 2021 S Cicero Caston (6'1, 196) continues to rack up big offers. This week he added Mississippi State, FIU, Arkansas and Ole Miss.

Caston also has offers from Illinois State, Kansas, Miami (FL), SMU, UMass, North Texas, Florida, Baylor, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Houston and Liberty.

He has taken recent unofficial visits to schools like SMU and Texas and has a trip planned to see Baylor on March 1.

Caston was one of the standouts at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Dallas.

Commit of the Week

There were no new commitments this week, so it gives us time to take a closer look into the commitment of Manor 2021 S Devin Lemear to TCU (6'1, 175).

TCU was Lemear's first offer.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Lemear is the type of safety who is all over the field, making plays and competes hot-blooded. He can and will get better with weight gain. He loves to hit, so the more mass he can add, the better. He likely sticks at safety, but he does have some corner skills. He has long limbs and shows good instincts in pursuit of the ball.

Underclassman of the Week

Katy 2022 DE Malick Sylla (6'5, 230) picked up four new offers from schools like SMU, USC, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M this week.

Those programs join Baylor, Houston, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Kentucky, LSU, Arizona State on Sylla's early offer list.

Sylla is scheduled to take an unofficial visit to see LSU on March 14.

Co-Recruits of the Week

Forth Worth All Saints 2021 offensive linemen Tommy Brockermeyer (6'6, 285) and James Brockermeyer (6'3, 275) announced their official visit schedule: Alabama (April 3), LSU (May 8), Auburn (June 2), Texas (June 8), Alabama (June 19).

It is not a typo, as Alabama is listed twice. NCAA rules allow twins to take official visits to a program twice and the Crimson Tide will have a unique advantage.

The Brockermeyer's are Longhorn legacy recruits as their father (Blake Brockeremeyer) and grandfather (Kay Brockermeyer) both played at Texas, and their brother (Luke Brockermeyer) is currently on the 'Horns' roster.
