Prospect on the Rise
Keep an eye on the recruitment of Richmond Foster 2021 DT Tyler Onyedim (6'3, 277).
Onyedim picked up his first in-state offer this week from UTSA, which joins Grambling on his early offer list. He also took a recent unofficial visit to Kansas and the Jayhawks are showing a strong interest.
Onyedim was the DL MVP at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Houston.
Commit of the Week
Hempstead 2021 S Justin Macias (5'11, 195) announced a commitment to Tulsa.
Macias picked the Hurricane over offers from North Texas and UTSA.
Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Macias led the team in tackles from the safety position. He closes quickly and suddenly to the ball and showcases excellent ball skills on tape as he had several interceptions. He is a physical tackler and handles space well.
Underclassman of the Week
Dickinson 2022 TE Donovan Green (6'4, 210) had a fantastic Valentine's Day picking up three P5 offers from Florida, Michigan and Washington.
Green has a LONG offer list that includes schools like Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M.
Green was one of the elite standouts at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 in Houston in 2019.
Recruit of the Week
There have been a lot of hot recruits in the Class of 2021, but Frisco Independence 2021 TE Elijah Arroyo (6'4, 210) is a man on fire.
In the past week, he has added new offers from Purdue, Alabama, Georgia, TCU and USC.
Those schools join UConn, SMU, LSU, Houston, Miami (FL), Oklahoma State, Kansas, Texas A&M, Texas, Michigan and Penn State on Arroyo's offer list.
