Prospect on the Rise

Argyle Liberty Christian 2021 QB Daniel Greek has (6'4, 230) pulled in three new offers from Colorado State, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech.

Of course, Texas-based football fans are familiar with new Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach, who won quite a few games when he as the head coach at Texas Tech.

Greek also holds in-state offers from North Texas and UTSA with P5 offers also coming from Duke, Missouri, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Washington State.

Commit of the Week

Bellaire Episcopal 2021 OL Cullen Montgomery (6'5, 315) announced a commitment to Oklahoma.

Montgomery picked the Sooners over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Texas A&M.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Montgomery can be described as country strong. He gets his fair share of pancakes and plays hard until the whistle. He plays tackle in high school but could make a move to the interior on the next level. Montgomery is technically sound with the power and size to dominate, and that's why he already owns a national-level offer list.

Underclassman of the Week

Lancaster 2021 WR Majik Rector (5'9, 155) earned MVPs honors at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 in Dallas for the second year in a row.

The Kansas commitment is a wide receiver prospect who can cut on a dime and creates great separation when he runs routes. Rector is the perfect fit for the Jayhawks as a slot wide receiver where he can use his quickness and agility to pick up yards after the catch.

Recruit of the Week

Marshall 2020 WR Savion Williams (6'5, 205) picked up a new offer from the Texas Longhorns.

Williams named a top three of Arkansas, TCU, and SMU, but it seems like UT is going to be an active player in this race as well.

Willaims has already used official visits to see Arkansas and SMU. He will visit TCU this upcoming weekend, and could also take a visit to UT down the stretch.

Williams will announce on National Signing Day.
