We are celebrating 10 years of Texas high school football with the All-Decade recruiting team.

To qualify you had to be rated as a five-star prospect or among the top five players in the state.

Who was the best of the best?

All-Decade Prospect Team

QB Kyler Murray - Allen - Texas A&M, Oklahoma
A five-star from Allen high school who won Mr. Texas Football Player of the Year. Twice! Murray also won the Heisman at Oklahoma.

RB: Johnathan Gray - Aledo - Texas
Gray is a TXHSFB legend who scored eight touchdowns in the state championship game.

WR: Garrett Wilson - Lake Travis - Ohio State
Easily the toughest position to select. Wilson was the No. 1 recruit in the  2019 DCTF Hot 100 and is off to a fast start in Columbus.

TE: Kaden Smith - Flower Mound Marcus - Stanford
Smith was the highest-rated tight end. Despite battling injuries, he was still one of the best at Stanford. He left college early to play in the NFL.

OL: Jake Matthews - Elkins - Texas A&M
His father (Bruce Matthews) was a legend, but Jake carved out his own history. A college All-American and a two-time Pro-Bowl pick.

OL Greg Little - Allen - Ole Miss
Little was the unanimous No. 1 player in the state in his class and has already earned a starting position at left tackle for the Carolina Panthers in his rookie season.

DE: Myles Garrett - Arlington Martin - Texas A&M
One of the most impressive specimens to ever step on a Texas high school football field. Garrett was the No. 1 selection in the 2017 NFL draft.

DT: Ed Oliver - Westfield - Houston
An explosive first step and unmatched strength helped Oliver become the highest-rated prospect to ever ink with Houston and a Top 10 selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.

LB: Malik Jefferson - Mesquite Poteet - Texas
The former No. 1 prospect was the Big 12 Freshman of the Year and the Co-Defensive Player of the Year at Texas.

S: Jamal Adams - Hebron - LSU
Adams possessed the size, hitting ability and coverage skills to make him the best safety prospect the state has produced this decade.

CB: Jeffrey Okudah - South Grand Prairie - Ohio State
Okudah was rated as the No. 1 CB nationally, and he's developed into one of college football's brightest stars.

Utility: Jaylen Waddle - Bellaire Episcopal - Alabama
Waddle was recently named SEC Special Teams Player of the Year and was only slot receiver to earn five-star status.
