Texas Tech 2020 WR commit Quin Bright (5'9, 170) brings a lot to the table per Cedar Hill head coach Carlos Lynn

"Quinn is a great teammate," Lynn explained. "We all know about his athletic ability. We all know about his speed and his quickness, but he is a pleasure to be around. This is a good young man, and he loves being a Cedar Hill Longhorn.

He doesn't act like a prima donna. He practices his tail off. He practices hard, and he wants to be involved. He loves football. You know, that's what he does what he wants to do. He wants to play football. He wants to be involved in as much as possible (with the team)."

"I think they're getting a football player," Lynn continued. "They're getting a guy that enjoys the grind. He enjoys the process of becoming a good football player and being a part of a good football team."

Bright selected the Red Raiders over an abundance of other top offers, and he feels solid in his decision.

"I'm very solid to Tech," Bright said. "100 percent committed. I don't think there is any other school that's better and I believe the class we have put together will change the program."

"The coaches there eat, sleep, and breathe football."

Bright broke onto the TXHSFB recruiting scene as a running back, but he has developed into one of the state's most complete wide receivers. He runs a laser-timed 4.50 40-yard dash and is dangerous in the open field.

"He's hard to guard or defend," Coach Lynn informed. "His hands have continued to get better. He's turned into a pretty versatile receiver, but he can still run the football.

He's one of those types of athletes that you just have to manufacture ways to give him the ball," Coach Lynn explained. "You have to keep him involved in the offense and the earlier you do that, the more success you're probably going to have."

In 2019, Bright leads Cedar Hill with 28 receptions for 368 yards and four touchdowns. He checks in as the No. 93 prospect overall per the DCTF Top 100.
