Prospect on the Rise

This week we focus in on Frisco Lone Star 2020 QB Chandler Galban (6'2, 192).

This spring Galban added new offers from Columbia, Dartmouth, UTSA, New Mexico and Arkansas State.

Galban took an official visit to Nevada in mid-May, is hearing from schools like Virginia Tech, Cal, UCONN and Baylor.

Galban had a strong performance at the Next Level Athlete Top 100 Showcase in Houston.

Commit of the Week

Arkansas picked up a commitment from McKinney North 2020 TE Brandon Frazier (6'6, 225).

Frazier picked the Razorbacks over offers from schools like Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Iowa State, Nebraska, TCU, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Frazier is a big target down the field. He catches the ball well and uses his hands to secure a high percentage of his targets. He adjusts to and tracks the ball well. Blocking has improved a bunch as he has matured. Frazier is a very versatile tight end who can be a true inline guy, H-back and as a flex receiver.

Underclassman of the Week

This week's rising underclassman is North Shore 2022 CB Denver Harris (6'1, 180).

Harris has added new offers from Baylor, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State this week. Those schools joined Tennessee on his early offer list.

Harris did not play on North Shore's 2018 state championship team but figures to be a factor for a defensive backfield that will be replacing several star players.

Recruit of the Week

Gruver 2020 ATH Jalin Conyers (6'5, 215) named a top six: Texas Tech, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Georgia, LSU and Ohio State.

"After careful consideration and a lot of prayers I am excited to announce my Top 6 schools that I will be moving forward within recruiting," Conyers reported.

Conyers also had offers from schools like Baylor, SMU, TCU, Texas and Texas A&M but the Red Raiders were the only in-state program to make the cut.

News and Notes

  • Class of 2020 ATH Jayveon Sunday from Waco Connally committed to Washington.
