Cedar Hill boasts one of the most loaded rosters in the state and one of the Longhorn's top prospects is 2020 WR Quin Bright (5'9, 170), who has named an "elite eight" of Arizona, Nebraska, Memphis, Missouri, Kansas, Baylor, Oregon State and Texas Tech.

Bright was considering making a commitment on during tomorrow's spring game, but he pushed back his decision due to "personal reasons." His new decision timeline has not yet been announced.

"Baylor, Arizona and (Texas) Tech are standing out to me right now," Bright reported.

Baylor - "Baylor has an advantage because Joey McGuire is down there and he used to coach me at Cedar Hill. But I have not really been in touch with a lot of the other coaches because when I get there, he won't be coaching me."

Texas Tech - "I have been staying in touch with Texas Tech. That coaching staff – they love me like I am already on the team. I have been down there and feels great to be around them. It feels like I have already known them for years."

Arizona - "We just have a good relationship. I have been talking to them a lot over the phone, and I plan to take an official visit there."

As a junior in 2018, Bright rushed for 362 yards and six touchdowns and hauled in 30 receptions for 393 yards and three additional TDs.

He figures to be an integral part of a Cedar Hill offense that should make statewide waves in 2019.

"Now, I feel like I am more of a complete receiver heading into the next level," Bright said of his skills.

"I feel like I can show more of my abilities at receiver. At running back you have to rely on your offensive linemen to create a whole, but at receiver, it is just you and the defender, and I feel like nobody can guard me and that is a better advantage."
