Grapevine SQT - DI

CB Christian Gonzalez (2020) - The Colony: There has been no hotter prospect in the state than Gonzalez, who was named as this week's Prospect on the Rise by DCTF and Next Level Athlete. He has picked up recent offers from schools like Alabama, Ohio State and TCU.

Lake Travis SQT - DI

QB Hudson Card (2020) - Lake Travis: The Texas Longhorns commit will be finding a go-to WR replacement now that Garrett Wilson has moved on to college, but Lake Travis is a program that always reloads. Card looked very sharp at The Opening in Dallas, and he should pick defenses apart in this tournament.

Richmond Foster SQT - DI

S Xavion Alford (2020) - Shadow Creek: One of the most heavily offered prospects in the state of Texas. Alford has over 40 offers to sift through as he tries to find a spot to play in college. DCTF projects the Sharks to secure a place in the state tournament this weekend, so Alford's play in the defensive backfield will be instrumental.

Fredericksburg SQT - DII

LB Moses Wray (2022) - Wimberley: Wray was able to showcase his skill sets at the Next Level Athlete Top 100 Showcase in Houston. A rising freshman who will start to pop up on more radars as he matures.

Gatesville SQT - DII

CB Korie Black (2020) - Waco Connally: Connally boasts a few prospects who are getting an abundance of offers to play at the Power Five Conference level, but Black may project as the best of the bunch. A long and rangy defender who can sink his hips and stay in a receiver's hip pocket.

Graham SQT - DII

QB Behren Morton (2020) - Eastland: Morton may remind some folks of a young Patrick Mahomes. He is a quarterback who can move around in the pocket and uses unorthodox arm angles at times to complete passes. He has the "it" factor. Colleges have taken notice as he has secured offers from  Texas Tech, USC, Tulsa and Wisconsin.

Hitchcock SQT - DII

ATH Pacey Jones (2020) - Hitchcock: The son of former LSU DB Lloyd Jones. He is a Mr. Do It All for Hitchcock, playing QB as well as some DB and WR. His recruitment is yet to take off, but he is one to watch closely. We project him as a college defensive back.

Paris SQT - DII

RB JaBray Young (2020) - Melissa: The star running back is a significant part of the offensive scheme as he stays involved in the passing game. He caught six touchdown passes as a junior in 2018, so he will be a weapon in 7-on-7. Oh yeah, he also squats 575 pounds! SMU, Syracuse, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Nevada and North Texas have offered.

West Columbia SQT - DII

QB Cameron Ward (2020) - Columbia: Ward is an exciting prospect all-around. He will play quarterback and put up good numbers, but he worked out at wide receiver at the Next Level Athlete Top 100 Showcase in Houston and looked sharp. No major scholarship offers yet, but schools like Texas and Texas A&M have hosted him on unofficial visits, so interest is there.
