Prospect on the Rise

This week we focus in on Justin Northwest 2020 LB Cooper McDonald (6'3, 220) who picked up three offers from the Pac-12 in Utah, Washington and Colorado. Louisiana and New Mexico also extended offers.

McDonald also owns offers from North Texas, Tulsa, Yale, Rice, UTSA, Dartmouth, Arkansas State, Tulane, Air Force, Liberty and Wyoming.

McDonald racked up 96 tackles, seven sacks, forced three fumbles, recovered four fumbles and secured three interceptions as a junior in 2018.

Commit of the Week

TCU picked up a commitment from Newton 2020 DE James Sylvester (6'4, 245).

Sylvester picked the Horned Frogs over offers from schools like Texas A&M, Baylor, Arkansas, SMU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Georgia, Florida State, Oregon, Texas Tech and LSU.

Underclassman of the Week

This week we focus in on South Oak Cliff 2021 LB Jai Jones (5'10, 232).

Jones has recently added new offers from schools like Georgia, LSU, Nebraska and Kansas. Bowling Green, Louisiana Tech, Alabama A&M, Texas A&M, Baylor, Arkansas and Boston College have also offered.

Jones plays alongside his twin brother (Jalen) at SOC. Jalen also picked up an offer from Kansas this week.

Recruit of the Week

Grandview 2021 TE Dametrious Crownover (6'6, 235) has had a fantastic run over the past ten days.

In just one day he picked up offers from Arizona State, LSU, North Texas, Purdue and TCU.

Colorado, Ohio State, and Georgia followed, joining Southern Miss, Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Baylor and Michigan.

Crownover helped lead Grandview to the state title game in 2018, and the Zebras figure to be a contender again in 2019.
