The last week has been a fun ride for Fort Worth Nolan Catholic 2022 RB Emeka Megwa (6'0, 200). Offers have come in from LSU, Texas Tech, Texas, Nebraska, Ohio State and Texas A&M.

Arkansas, Baylor, Florida, Illinois and Houston have also offered.

"It has just been fun," Megwa answered when asked about the recruiting process. "I just can't let that get to my head. I just got to keep playing, and I just got to keep grinding and do me."

"It's just a blessing to me. I appreciate all of them, and I appreciate all these schools believing in me."

Baylor got the ball rolling on his offer parade before he even walked the hallways of his high school

"That was crazy," Megwa explained. "I was just in the eighth grade, and I just could not believe it at that time. It is a real good program. Coach (Joey) McGuire and the (coaches) at Baylor are excellent coaches."

Megwa has a good offer list for a freshman, but there is still one more out there he's hungry to add.

"Bama," Megwa stated when asked about offers he would be interested in receiving. "It's just dogs around there."

As a freshman in 2018, Megwa rushed for 642 yards and five touchdowns.

"I feel like my game resembles Saquon (Barkley)," Megwa said. "He is really good. I will always look up to him because he is real athletic."

Megwa attended The Opening Dallas and posted a 4.63 laser-timed 40-yard dash.
