Hebron, Frisco Lone Star, and Cypress Bridgeland won qualifying rounds and qualified for the State 7-on-7 Tournament in College Station (June 27-29).

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba - Rockwall
Rockwall did not make the qualifying round of play (top six) but Smith-Njigba was the top-rated prospects in the tournament and he had one of the strongest days of individual performance. QB Jacob Clark (Minnesota) is gone now but whoever wins the starting job will have the luxury of getting a top playmaker and consistent performer. Smith-Njigba is the No. 9 player in the DCTF prospect rankings.

RB JD Price - Denison
Denison put up a massive amount of points. It ran into a buzzsaw in Frisco Lone Star in the last game, but Price was heavily involved in the offense from start to finish and showcased some tremendous pass-catching ability. UTSA recently extended him an offer.

QB Garrett Nussmeier - Flower Mound Marcus
Nussmeier was shredding defenses and the Marauders put up big points but ultimately fell to Denison in a shoot out. His arm is noticeably stronger and he can fit the ball into a tight window. Look for him to have a strong junior season.

QB Chandler Galban - Frisco Lone Star
Galban and his teammates only played one game and were without star receiver Marvin Mims (track) but the offense was clicking on all cylinders and Galban was able to connect with his receivers deep down the field on multiple occasions.

WR Dylan Goffney - Cypress Bridgeland
Arkansas and Arizona State have extended early offers and it is easy to see why. Much like Smith-Njigba, Goffney is a consistent playmaker on the outside and he has extremely strong hands. He was able to make some tough catches look easy.

TE Dylan Crippen - Cypress Bridgeland
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound tight end was a huge part of the offense. He was consistently open underneath and knows how to use his big body to shield defenders from the football. No offers yet but keep a close on that situation this spring.

S Darius Snow - Hebron
Snow  is an enforcer in the middle of the field and quarterback account for his location on the field at all times and he still had the chance to get his hands on the football and lead Hebron back to state. Snow is committed to Michigan State.

WR Cam Brady - Arlington Lamar
Trevon West was out for a track meet and that gave the sophomore wide receiver a chance to take center stage. He is a vertical weapon with plus size. Brady's emergence gives the Vikings a dangerous 1-2 punch on offense and they will compete for the district title again in 2019.

LB Jaylan Ford - Lone Star
There may not be a more physically impressive defensive prospect in the city. Ford is a linebacker who diagnoses quickly and closes on the football in an instant. Offers from Army, Colorado State, Kansas, Minnesota, North Texas, Texas Southern, Toledo and Tulsa.

ATH Chase Lowery - Frisco
You can quickly and easily see the talent Lowery brings to the table both sides of the ball (cornerback and receiver). His upside as a college prospect is likely higher on defense, and he has the length and one-on-one skill set to develop into a significant college target.

*Note: We only watched games at The Star and did not have a chance to see the teams competing at Frisco Wakeland.
