Prospect on the Rise

This week we focus in on Henderson 2020 WR Caleb Medford (6'1, 186).

Medford picked up new offers from Purdue and Illinois.

He also holds offers from schools like Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, Missouri, Louisiana-Monroe, Tulane, Arkansas State, Memphis, Tulsa, Boston College, Louisiana, Virginia, Indiana, TCU, Texas Tech, SFA and Southern Miss.

Medford starred at the Next Level Athlete Top 100 Showcase in Dallas.

Commit of the Week

Oklahoma State picked up a commitment from Waco Connally 2020 OL Trent Pullen (6'3, 275).

Pullen selected the Cowboys over offers like Baylor, Kansas State, Tulsa, LSU, Texas A&M, SMU, Houston, Texas State, Purdue, Boston College, Louisiana Tech, Colorado and North Texas.

Next Level Scouting Report: "Pullen is a tremendous interior OL prospect. He is not the longest or most athletic prospect, but he is very consistent and had one of the best initial punches in the state and we also note that he has the feet of an offensive tackle but the build of a guard or a center."

OSU has also extended an offer to Waco Connally CB Korie Black.

Underclassman of the Week

Lake Travis 2021 WR/TE Lake McRee (6'4, 205) picked up a big in-state offer from TCU.

The Horned Frogs are the first in-state P5 program to extend him an offer joining schools like Tulsa, UTSA, Arkansas, Arizona and Arizona State.

McRee will be a major component of the LT offense in 2019 as he will be stepping in to help replace the loss of Garrett Wilson, who is playing at Ohio State.

Recruit of the Week

John Tyler 2020 ATH Kitan Crawford (5'11, 190) narrowed his focus from around 15 offers to a top three, naming Baylor, Tennessee and Texas as the front-runners for his services.

Crawford is an interesting prospect who could play on either side of the football in college, but has the size and attributes to fit in well in the defensive backfield.

Crawford was a key component in the Lions' 2018 playoff run and he is a big reason why they are the district favorite again in 2019.
