The Weekly TXHSFB Recruiting Dump (March 6)

Prospect on the Rise

This week we focus in on Frisco Reedy OL Nathan Anderson (6'5, 265).

Anderson, who holds offers from Big 12 schools like Baylor and TCU, posted a 4.20 pro-shuttle time at The Opening Dallas.

Washington State joined the offer parade for him after the event.

Anderson had a Top 5 OL performance at the Next Level Athlete Top 100 Showcase in Dallas.

Commit of the Week

It has been just over a week since Rice picked up a commitment from Bishop Lynch 2020 S Plae Waytt (5'11, 195).

Wyatt selected the Owls over offers from SMU and Yale.

Next Level Scouting Report: "Starting safety for McKinney Boyd as a freshman and sophomore, transferred to Bishop Lynch as a junior. Wyatt is a zone cover safety. His range is decent, anticipates well, and he gets a good jump on the ball."

Underclassman of the Week

DeSoto 2021 DE Shemar Turner (6'2, 320) was named the DL MVP at The Opening in Dallas. This is following an MVP performance at the Next Level Athlete Camp in Dallas.

With back-to-back MVP performances, it is only a matter of time before his recruitment hits warp speed.

Baylor, Grambling, Alabama A&M, Oklahoma State, and South Alabama are his first five offers but look for is offer list to expand exponentially by the time the spring evaluation period is over.

Recruit of the Week

Mansfield Timberview 2020 CB Jalen Kimber (6'1, 170) was the fastest man at The Opening in Dallas after posting a 4.43 40-yard dash.

Crawford has early offers from Houston, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Baylor, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Texas, Purdue, Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Alabama, California, and Illinois.

He added new offers this week from Oklahoma, Florida, and Ohio State.

Kimber reports that he is still hungry and in the hunt for offers from LSU and Georgia.
