North Shore Class of 2020 OT Damieon George (6'7, 330) helped lead the Mustangs to the 6A Division I state championship in AT&T Stadium.

Standing on the field, George had a great vantage point for the game-winning Hail Mary that secured the 41-36 win.

"It was emotional," George said. "Just to see him (North Shore WR AJ Carter) catch that ball as the seconds run off the clock. It was crazy. We came out with the win."

"That was the most physical game I played in. We never stopped coming at them. We finished the game."

George has secured an impressive early offer list with schools like Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, and Texas A&M stepping up.

"It is a blessing," George said." I never thought I would be this far in life. It is a blessing. It is just a grind. Going through it every day."

When it comes down to a decision George is looking for stability with his positional coach and a championship caliber team.

"I have to have a bond with the O-line coach," George answered when asked what is a must have for him "They have got to be a winning team."

George has an abundance of scholarship opportunities but admits an offer from Clemson is one that he is still hungry for.
