Bishop Dunne 2019 CB Logan Wilson (5'11, 165) finished his senior season off with a bang. He helped lead the Falcons to a TAPPS DI state title. 

"Winning state completed the year, and we give it to everybody that helped us in that journey," Wilson said. "Our defense is one of the tops in the country. We were good in all categories, and we just put all together. We had at least 28 INTS and a lot of sacks, so it was a blessing to play with those guys."

"I improved a lot. I got bigger and faster and more physical, so my game was good. I was hitting more and making plays, so I had an outstanding year. And ready to work more on my craft at the next level."

Wilson — a one-time Arizona commit — picked up an offer from Kansas State in early December and inked with the Wildcats in the Early Signing Period. 

"I knew it was the place for me," Wilson began. "They always kept it honest with me and just told me don’t focus on them right now and focus on my season. 

"Coach Taylor Braet was upfront with me and was telling me every other week it’s coming and I’m blessed that he believed in my game. I knew it was a great fit because my parents can get there and we are playing good competition (Big 12)."

"The academics are fantastic, and it (the campus) was beyond impressive —  that stood out the most.  All the tutoring was amazing, the campus was beautiful, and the football facility was crazy...the field, the locker room, and weight room were mind-blowing."

Wilson formed bonds with new K-State head coach Chris Klieman and the rest of the staff.  

"Yes, I have grown relationships with most of the coaches," Wilson said. "They are very, very impressive. They care about the players and want to take care of the players."

"The head coach is a great guy and a very, very good coach and I love everything he has said because he is a true man of his word."
