The state of Texas is ready to have a few extra players playing on Sundays next season. Ten college football standouts have decided to enroll early in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Texas A&M leads the way with five players declaring, including the best player on both offense and defense. However, the Group of Five refused to be left behind. A Houston player will undoubtedly be the first player off the board. A Sun Belt player and two Conference-USA players also expect to get drafted.

Here’s the full list of early-entrants to the 2019 NFL Draft.

NEW: Texas A&M K Daniel LaCamera

The Texas A&M kicker came into the year as a senior, but played in only two games because of injuries. However, he will not return to school despite keeping a year of eligibility. LaCamera leaves Texas A&M as No. 8 on the all-time field goals list. Two of his three seasons rank among the 10 most productive in program history. 

Texas State TE Keenen Brown

Brown graded as one of the best tight ends in America by multiple outlets after just one season at Texas State. He was awarded a sixth year of eligibility, but instead decided to focus on the draft. Brown was easily the best player on the offense and compiled 652 yards and seven touchdowns.

Texas A&M LB Tyrel Dodson

Dodson is a dynamic linebacker prospect who has a penchant for being all over the field. Over his last two seasons, Dodson posted 174 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and four interceptions against SEC competition.

North Texas WR Jalen Guyton

Guyton, a Notre Dame transfer, opted to leave school after just two seasons playing. However, he complied 1,580 yards and 15 touchdowns in those two years. Guyton will rely on his natural ability to try and impress NFL scouts.

Texas WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey

Humphrey emerged as the Longhorns’ first 1,000-yard receiver since 2014 and turned into Texas’ top overall playmaker. He and Collin Johnson were the focus of the passing game as gigantic receivers who could make plays after the catch.

Houston DT Ed Oliver

Oliver is the best defensive player in America over the last three seasons, and was named a three-time All-American. He declared for the draft before the 2018 season even started.

Texas A&M TE Jace Sternberger

Sternberger set himself apart as the best receiving tight end in America during a standout junior season at Texas A&M. He transferred to Texas A&M from Kansas and immediately caught 48 passes for 832 yards and 10 touchdowns.

UTSA LB Josiah Tauaefa

Taueafa came onto the scene as a freshman and immediately established himself as a special linebacker. Don’t count his injury plagued second year; in his first and third seasons, Tauaefa combined for 226 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks as a linebacker. He’s pro ready.

Texas Tech WR Antoine Wesley

Wesley surprisingly broke out in his junior season after two pedestrian years after coming in from Cibolo Steele. After finishing No. 3 nationally in receiving yards, he decided to capitalize on the buzz around his name and declare.

Texas A&M RB Trayveon Williams

Williams was the best running back in Texas and it wasn’t even close. His 1,760 yards – a perfect mile – rank as the best single-season performance in Texas A&M history. He finishes his career with a pair of 1,000-yard seasons and No. 3 on the Aggies rushing list.
