Prospect Preview: Southlake Carroll vs. Duncanville

RB TJ McDaniel - Southlake Carroll (2019): McDaniel comes from a line of high school stars, and he is hopeful to lead the Dragons to a state championship season. The Duncanville defense will be a test. McDaniel is committed to SMU and is one the highest-rated prospect for the Mustangs.

CB RJ Mickens - Southlake Carroll (2020): Mickens is the most heavily recruited prospect on the field and SLC will lean on him on both sides of the football. He has a national offer list that includes schools like Alabama, Baylor, Houston, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Stanford, and Texas A&M. Mickens is the son of former Texas A&M standout Ray Mickens.

S Chris Thomspon Jr. - Duncanville (2019): Thompson is a force to be reckoned with on the defensive side of the football and will likely be all over McDaniel. A long and rangy safety, but he is also built for coming up into the box and making plays. He has a who's who on his offer list with all of the big in-state and national offers.

Ja'Quinden Jackson - Duncanville (2019): Jackson will play quarterback for the Panthers, but he could end up playing safety or wide receiver in college. Jackson has offers from Baylor, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech in-state. He also has Alabama, Oklahoma, and LSU nationally.

ATH Marquez Beason - Duncanville (2019): Beason could make an excellent prospect at wide receiver or cornerback on the next level. As he has developed there has been much more talk of him on the defensive side of the football, where his size makes him a true commodity. Beason is committed to Illinois.
