S/OLB John Hunter Henry (6'0, 190) - Lake Travis

Henry picked the Owls over offers from schools like Princeton and Texas State. Texas Tech had also been showing an interest. Henry transferred to Lake Travis from Cedar Park and is having a strong senior season. He is an enforcer in the secondary. He should be viewed as a hybrid-style safety who can also come up and play some outside linebacker. What sticks out most about Henry's game is his versatility. He has had experience playing cornerback, nickelback, and safety. It is a bit surprising that he has not had a bit more recruiting interest -- he has the type of skill set to excel in college.

S Kirk Lockhart Jr. (5'10, 180) - Cedar Hill

Rice was Lockhart's first FBS-level scholarship offer on Oct. 27. Lockhart has enjoyed a rise up the recruiting ranks powered by a strong senior season the field. Lockhart is in the midst of a very successful 2018 campaign, securing seven regular-season interceptions. As his stats suggest, he is a ball-hawk. Lockhart is a bit undersized but is very explosive and closes on the football in a flash. He is very aggressive when coming downhill to meet the ball carrier. His size and skill set combo suggests he could also get a look at cornerback or nickelback. Lockhart fits the definition of sleeper. He only has one FBS offer, but his highlight tape suggests that he has the talent to be a difference maker.
