Week 9 Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week — Dripping Springs QB Reese Johnson
Tigers QB takes home statewide honors for Week 9 of the 2016 Texas high school football season.
Congratulations to Dripping Springs QB Reese Johnson, the Week 9 winner of the Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week award, presented by Wells Fargo in conjunction with the Advocare V100 Texas Bowl. The 5-9, 165-pound senior threw for 255 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 231 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers’ 64-54 win over Alamo Heights.
Tigers fans can also be praised for their part in this honor, as they voted often enough to make sure that Heath received the most votes in the poll on TexasFootball.com.
