Week 11 Player of the Week: Groveton WR Dawson Chumley
Groveton WR takes home statewide honors for Week 11 of the 2015 Texas high school football season.
Congratulations to Groveton WR Dawson Chumley, the Week 11 winner of the Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week award, presented by Wells Fargo. The 6-3, 160-pound junior caught 14 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns in the Indians’ 50-12 win over West Hardin.
Groveton fans can also be praised for their part in this honor, as they voted often enough to make sure that Dawson received the most votes in the poll on TexasFootball.com.
