Wallace to Oregon
Posted by Travis Stewart on 22 November 2010 | 0 comments

ESPN has reported that Anthony Wallace, Dallas Skyline's nationally recruited middle linebacker, has pledged out to Oregon. Interesting thoughts: Looks like Wallace was waiting till after the season (which, for Skyline, ended Friday in a 38-0 defeat to DeSoto), and you have to wonder if this makes Oregon fans feel a little better about losing out on Tivy QB Johnny Manziel earlier in the year (he switched to A&M).

Also interesting: Oregon has to be considered one of the top teams outside of Texas at recruiting Texas talent among schools that have no Texas schools in its conference. Confusing much? Simplified: Out of all Pac-10, SEC, ACC, Big East and Big Ten schools, Oregon might be tops at pulling Texas kids. Well done.
