As I mentioned a week or two ago, John Tyler's 0-3 record was more than deceiving. The Lions opened with losses to Lufkin, Longview and Tyler Lee. Not many others would be much better than 0-3 after those three. And, although Tyler Lee is 1-4, that's JT's crosstown rival and all bets are off.

So, I'm driving back home after watching Robert Griffin III and the Baylor Bears stun T.C.U. on Friday night and I get an email that I just know was wrong. It was a high school football fan in deep southeast Texas telling me a player from Hemphill rushed for 534-yards against West Sabine.
